I've been a bad girl

I haven't posted in a week or three. Things are beginning to get back to the pseudo-state of normal that they usually are around this time of year. But, alas, I have yet to get my SP box out. Bad girl!

DH is getting ready to go to Pennsic. I'm frantically trying to find his garb, seeing what is fit to send with him, and what all I have to make from scratch.

I'm not doing much knitting, other than a vest for Sean out of the Lion Brand Wool-ease. Hey, he's 5. He'll outgrow it probably before I get it done. I haven't really worked on anything else as it's been too hot here to see straight.

Sean starts kindergarten on August 8th. Time to start school shopping.

I just picked up a ginormous ball of roving and about six boxes of unspun angora. Free. A friend was cleaning house prior to moving and was giving stuff away. The roving also came with about 2 dozen packages of kool-aid mix. Next question is: How the frack do I spin angora?? I have two drop spindles and a charka. Actually, the bigger question is when am I going to spin it.
