David Hasselhoff

This was who my 4 year old said was in the tub with him tonight. He gets a little waterlogged in the brain when bathing. He acts out "Finding Nemo" with all of his bath toys. Tonight, it was scenes from the "Spongebob Squarepants" movie, obviously the scene with David Hasselhoff. I thought I was going to fall out of my chair.

The Rogue sweater is coming along nicely. I'm actually past the arm holes, and am trudging along on the hood. Claudia is right, the hood does seem to take longer than the other parts of the sweater. I think it's because of all the back and forth, and not being able to knit in the round. I'm almost ready to put the whole hood on a holder and start knitting the sleeves, so I'm back to the mindless part. That, and I'm not looking forward to grafting the top of the hood.

Went to the local SCA event today. I had a burst of crazed inspiration the other day and knit Audrey, the local baroness and my Laurel, a coronet. Blue and yellow wool with little bobbles at the points of the coronet. She was very amused, and actually wore it most of the day. It was a bit nippy in the building, being January and all, and the cooks had to keep opening the large garage door at the end of the hall to check the grills. This was an archery event, and I actually dusted off my bow and loosed a few down range. Seeing as this was the first time I'd shot since before Sean was born, I think I did pretty good. I actually hit the target more than once. Even scored a couple in the gold. I am now starting to feel the muscles rebel, and I have a couple of really pretty bruises on the inside of my left arm where I got nailed by the bowstring. The pain is exquisite.

Time for bed. We actually got Sean to bed at a reasonable time, so he'll be up at the butt-crack of dawn. Thank the Gods for Starbucks.
